Range: Tenor Eb (Eb4-Ab5)
Weight: 9.5 oz.
____________R E V I E W _ S U M M A R Y____________
DESIGN
- Beautiful Ivory Finish
- Its design maintains its playability factor, as well as its sculpturesque qualities
WEIGHT
- At almost 10 oz., it may be difficult to play for kids
PLAYABILITY
- Uses the Budrio fingering style (transverse ocarinas), so it's very easy to play, especially if you already own a 10 or 12 hole ocarina
- Uses the standard breathing technique for ocarinas of blowing softly on the low notes, increasing your breath pressure as you progress up the scale to stay in pitch
SOUND
- Plays rich low notes and maintains it's clarity on the higher notes, giving it a very full sound
- Better sound sample: http://www.songbirdocarina.com/songs/muse1.mp3
I think most makers try to find a balance of having a good look and sound to their ocarinas, and Mr. Songbird captures the best of both worlds with this addition to his collection.

Kaepora Gaebora's Theme (LoZ: OoT)
